Front of House Cashier
We're looking for a friendly and energetic Front of House Cashier to join our team at The Grill Peri Peri Cambridge. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling orders, managing payments, and ensuring a friendly, welcoming experience.
Role summary
as the first face our customers see, you'll provide excellent service, handle transactions efficiently, and ensure every guest has a smooth dining experience.
Responsibilities
greet and welcome customers; handle cash, card and online payments accurately; take and process orders; keep the counter and dining area clean; support front-of-house during busy service.
Requirements
strong communication and customer service skills; basic cash-handling ability; comfortable in a fast-paced environment; reliable and punctual; valid work permit for Cambridge.
Nice to have
previous cashier / front-of-house experience, POS familiarity, and food hygiene knowledge.
